The CONMONSense Range is a robust, high-performance series of permanent-mount, standalone ultrasound sensors engineered to integrate seamlessly with standard industrial measurement systems. By utilizing an optimized resonant piezo element, these sensors detect the inception of structural and mechanical phenomena—specifically friction, impacting, and turbulence—and convert them into an analog signal response (4-20mA or 0-10V) for continuous tracking.
To accommodate diverse facility environments, the range provides three distinct sensor configurations for each output type:
-
Contact or Structure Sensor (IP65): Specifically optimized for monitoring bearing lubrication, valves, steam traps, hydraulic systems, and rotating assets, even the slowest ones.
-
Airborne Enclosed Sensor (IP65): Built to safely inspect electrical systems within challenging environmental conditions.
-
Airborne Open Sensor (IP40): Designed for standard open-air inspection of electrical systems.
Technically advanced, all sensors in the CONMONSense line feature onboard amplification stages, built-in analog filters, and hardware calibration. They support both static (RMS value) and dynamic (heterodyned signal) outputs, alongside on-board ambient temperature measurements accessible through serial communication. Furthermore, each sensor contains a unique ID and built-in non-volatile memory, ensuring that configuration settings and sensor states are fully recovered in the event of a power outage.
